Hispanic audiences

One market. Many lived experiences.

Understand the audience before choosing the message or language.

Start with the decision

Identify who uses, pays for and recommends the product. Origin, generation, geography, language preference and life stage can change the information people need. Research the specific audience rather than assuming a single Hispanic experience.

Adapt the message to the audience

Consider setting, cultural references, product explanation and the proof people need. Review English and Spanish concepts for meaning, not only literal accuracy. Test understanding with people who reflect the intended audience.

Keep ads, pages and follow up consistent

An ad, landing page and follow up should explain the same offer. Use language preference to improve access. English proficiency and Spanish spoken at home overlap and do not measure cultural identity.

Use the evidence to define research questions

Population size helps estimate opportunity, but does not define your target audience. Language figures support offering a language choice, rather than assigning one by ethnicity. Age and income data help frame questions about life stage and affordability; they do not describe every customer.
